오랫만에 즐겁고도 낯선 경험을 했습니다. ^^* 낯선 사람들과 만나서 무려 토론을 한거죠.
아는 사람들과 공유하는 문제로 토론을 해본적은 있을지라도... 이렇게 모르는 사람과 "토론" 을 해본 경험은 정말 오랫만인것 같습니다. (혹은 처음일지도..^^) 말 그대로 아이스브레이크를 한 뒤에는 정말 관심과 열정만으로도 아주 충만한 토론을 진행했습니다. 첫 번째 세션에서 저희 팀은 블로그와 소셜 네트워크라는 주제로 모였었지만, 실제로는 "대기업에서의 블로그의 의미" 에 대해서 열심히 얘기를 하게 되었습니다. 뻔하게 흐를수 있던 얘기들이 다양한 경험과 다양한 지식을 바탕으로 아주 흥미롭게 흘러서 재밌는 성공 사례도 들을 수 있었습니다. 두 번째 세션에서는 지식근로자를 주제로 "한국기업에서 과연 구글의 기업문화가 가능할까.." 하는 내용에 대해 진지하게 얘기해보았습니다. "구글의 문화" 라는 것이 너무 광범위하다 보니 이런 저런 얘기가 많이 오갔고.. 그 와중에 마이크로소프트와 삼성전자와 같은 대기업의 비교가 논의 대상이 되었습니다. 단순히 부러워하는 대상으로써의 "구글 문화" 가 아니라 한국 기업에서 현실적으로 적용 가능한 "개발자의 좋은 환경" 에 대해서 얘기가 모아졌던것 같습니다. 현재 나의 위치도 되돌아보고 주변과 비교해 볼 수도 있었던 계기였습니다. 토론의 내용도 좋았습니다. 하지만 더 좋았던 것은 바로 "토론" 이라는 행위였고.. 또한 함께 했던 사람들의 "존재", "관계".. 그리고 그분들의 다양한 "경험" 과 "지식" 이었습니다. 지적이고 즐겁고 재기어린 분위기를 서포트해주신 MS 직원분들께 감사드리고 그 뒤에서 장을 마련해주신 스마트플레이스 여러분께 감사드립니다. ^^*  I received this book from someone whom I like. I didn't know who Ekuni Kaori first. Yes...I didn't care who she is at all. I heard that she is the very writer of "冷靜と情熱のあいだ" when I read almost at the end of the book. This is an essay of the woman who got married. SHE is writing her daily life with her delicate susceptibility. SHE and her husband look different way but SHE loves her life because of that. One sentence comes to me... (of course this is not an exact sentence. It is translated based on my emotion) I'm wating eagerly to spend my days with him all the time, so I love weekend. During weekend, I can stay beside him all day long and we can share everything. And we argue all day long on weekend. However, I don't want him to go working on Monday morning..... And again, I felt at ease after he close the door to go out..... I think that there is none sentence to explain the "Marriage" better than this. Be careful~ Marriage is such contradictory relationship. :D I had researched about HCI someday in last year before our team would setup project. That was sort of valuable opportunity to expand my knowledge about something that I don't even know. Thanks to the experiences I could feel a great interest in HCI. So, today~ I would like to note down a concept of HCI based on my research I did before.
- computer - application programs - H/W components - output devices - web pages - Usability - Intuitive - Data density
- User-centered design (UCD) I had been googling to find web pages which has UI based on HCI and I could find some good examples. I'd like to intoduce Martin Wattenberg and his works below. :: MARTIN WATTENBERG :: " He is a researcher at IBM and he is working in the field of information visualization by his background in mathematics. He is also known for his information-based digital artwork." 1) Copernica http://www.hq.nasa.gov/copernica : This amazing program displays data depends on the relation with others. Each dot represents data and they are placed far from the center depending on the relevent with categorized topic.  2) Idealine http://artport.whitney.org/commissions/idealine.shtml : This page displays data information over timeline. Color means volume of data and Timelines are categories. You should see and feel the elegant way to show information. :> 
And besides Martin Wattenberg's works, I could find some cool sites to use this kind of method already. such as ThknkMap and ABSOLUTE.
 
Finally, I will show you an impressive site using interactive way to access data. This is not practical but we can predict the trend of the near future.
I noticed his embarrassing face at that moment! I kept talking to him ignoring his face by intention. Because, I already received so many items like mouse, headset, ipod and keyboard...something like that. I also have a little tiny wish to have some romantic present like jewerly. However, a few days later, I changed my mind........ and I asked him.....
And...Voila~!!!! This is my new toy NDSL~~~~~:D (I didn't mention about color..but he chose pink for me...;; well..good choice~) 
And of course I bought some cool games :)
well.. I have lots of thoughts about Nintendo and I'll post it next. One of my favorite items is snowball.(or snow globe) I love to watch the small world that I can make snowy weather anytime. It's really awesome.. This is a limited product and I desperately wanted to buy it when funshop released it. But it was sold out soon (while I was hasitating..) Anyhow my friend bought 2 already and he gave one of them to me fortunately~ :D Just look this for a while.. an amazing world in the pure..white..cold and calm snowball..    Look at this..:D Isn't it cute? This is a brand new MP3, iriver S7 of Reigncom. I'd like to give them great applause in the aspect of design. 
Yes..I know that design is totally different depending on each person. But For person who is favorable to cute and sweet one like me will love this MP3, I'm sure. Now.. I'll introduce the sepc. below.

I don't want to buy this but anyhow I like it.. (It doesn't look rare but kid's product, like toy..) I hope that Reigncom will release lots of delicate products like this. A good and innovative design can produce trendsetter now in my opinion~:D
Google Earth provides us a geographical images by impressive way.
However, MS didn't stay watching this and released a similar but much powerful system with new features! Yes! As we can see the titile, They added 3-D feature into the Virtual Earth. We can fly among photorealistic buildings because of the future technology of Vexcel. Vexcel is a digital-imaginary firm and produces specialized digital camera to take a aerial photographs. Additionally Vexcel makes a 3-D re-creations of urban areas to inform where to position the line-of-sight anetennas of telecom firms. MS acquired Vexcel and started to add cities to Virtual Earth 3-D. Of course, this will be a very big long-term project. The innovative solution to identify a person is introduced in Newsweek and It's called "out-of-wallet authentication". We can guess the information that the solution is based on as we can see the name. We usually put the written form of identification in the wallet such as a driving license, social security card and credit cards. But now we can verify our identification without our wallet by answering some questions about the private information including court house records, your pet's name or your favorite movie. The British company, "Experian" provides the innovative security service by "out-of-wallet authentication". For example, if a customer arouses suspicion, then credit-card company sends the basic information to the "Experian" and they can verify the customer by asking some questions based on the data that customer didn't give to the credit-cards company. How could "Experian" glean the data without the customer's notice? They've culled raw data from public and private database and analyze and make them information by tool that they've developed. It can be effective in some aspects that it's easy to identify a person. On the other hands, the solution should consider the case to verify the person based on the wrong information or wrong answer (even though he is a right person). They say that they have tolerance for those cases. (I don't know what it is..;; ) Now, every single trivial information is worthy to remember. We are easily tempted to gather the raw data and sell them to people who wants to abuse the information. One ex-con(ex-convict) person said that he could cull data that he tried to impersonate with less than $1,000 and he could flipped his fraud ring perfectly. And he could defeat all the "out-of-wallet test". Well..if I try to protect my private data perfectly, then I can not be verified myself with proper data. 2006.11.27 NEWSWEEK
I could have a chance to ponder upon the conditions to be a good leader lately.
Because we often debated about the topic in our English class. If someone ask me what the requirement of the good leader is.. then I'll answer like this. A GOOD LEADER should motivate subordinates to repect their own job.That's an indispensable ability to be a good leader. Sometimes, I feel that I'm doing trivial work and exhaust myself not to think like that. It possibly makes me sick of my work. At this moment, I need just a word to have me the confidence in my project. That is really important role of the Leader. I know one person who is really good at motivating subordinates. I admire him in the aspect of his leadership. He always prepares proper and reasonable ground and plans project based on it. I like his way to establish the theory before setting to the project. I want to be something. And this is also inspired by him. I don't know what I can do and will be.. However, Anything but ordinary please....(from Avril Lavign)
